The Budapest Geothermal Energy Summit, the region's leading geothermal energy conference was held for the second time with great success on September 20, 2024 at the Kempinski Hotel in Budapest. There was a lot of positive feedback from the conference. The event was attended by more than 40 speakers and representatives of more than 130 companies and organizations from 27 countries around the world. Both the Hungarian and international press reported on the conference, reports about the event reached tens of thousands of people in the media. At the event Dr. Ferenc Fedor, the scientific associate of University of Pécs, gave a presentation on behalf of our company, where he presented the geothermal project of Interreg Central Europe called Transgeo and the possibilities of reutilization of the state-owned abandoned wells for geothermal energy production.
